James Michael Cates III
Biography
I was born in Reykjavik, Iceland in 1964. My Mother is Icelandic. My Father is American. I spent a good portion of my life in Iceland until the age of 16 or so.
I've been in the US Army, went to Art School in Savannah, GA (my Father's home town) at The Savannah College of Art & Design, and have travelled pretty extensively around Europe.
Lisa Renee Kozak agreed to marry me in 1995. We have three awesome children: Pierce (1995), Madeleine (1997), and Stephen (2001). We also have a dog named Chelsea, she's a Black Lab/Min Pinscher mix.
I have worked in the Internet sector for almost 12 years. First in Technical Support and design, then in Testing, graduating to Software Development, and finally into
Web Application Achitecture and Software Engineering. I have been involved with or led development of:
